The summer guest ranch season at Vista Verde runs from June through late October. The first part of the summer is designed for family vacations, and September and October are when we offer our autumn adult-only weeks.
While we take pride in offering an in-depth horsemanship experience, we also have a wide array of activities that one might not expect on a dude ranch vacation. Most of the options you’ll see below are offered all summer and into the autumn season. However, as the weather gets cooler and the days shorter in the autumn months, we do adjust the activities accordingly, and some of the water sports are not available.
What makes a ranch vacation at Vista Verde unique is the flexibility and personalized attention that goes into each experience. Our diverse selection of activities can make it hard to choose what to do each day, but the planning is made easy as we simply come around each evening and ask “What do you want to do tomorrow?” Your day, your way! The wranglers and guides will go out of their way to tailor each experience to your interest, ability, and fitness level. Top-notch gear and equipment are provided, and you’ll get plenty of instruction to help you master a new skill, or build on existing skills.
