What a nice surprise to receive the letter from Fodor’s announcing that Vista Verde had been selected as a Fodor’s Choice recipient yet again. Their writers select a list of the best places to visit when traveling to a region, and we were thrilled to be on the list!

We thought it might be a long shot since this is such a large scale magazine, but were thrilled to be included in their “Best Outfitters on the Earth” online database. We are proud to be in the company of many long-established and very high quality organizations providing unique adventures.
Wine Spectator Award of Excellence
Our Chef has been building the ranch’s cellar wine list to rival that of some of the country’s greatest restaurants, and that was recognized by Wine Spectator with their coveted Award of Excellence. We’re so excited to be a part of such a prestigious list!
Memberships
The Dude Ranchers’ Association
We are also a proud member of the Dude Ranchers’ Association. “Ride the West with the Best” is the motto of our association of the 100 or so top ranches in North America. You’ll find that there is quite a variety of ranches, from luxury ranch resorts to authentic working ranches.
Colorado Dude Ranch Association
We’re are actively involved in the Colorado Dude and Guest Ranch Association. Our association of Colorado ranches has maintained high standards and strict requirements for over 70 years.
