These weeks are very popular due to the fall foliage season. Our hallmark activities such as trail riding, horsemanship clinics, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more are offered during these weeks. It’s a great time to get out and explore the mountains with the aspens changing and the cooler weather.
This is also a great time for honeymooners who are looking for a unique honeymoon vacation that has a little more adventure than just laying around at a beach resort!

We have a partnership with a local rancher to help them manage their cow-calf operation. After being out on over 16,000 acres of grazing land, fall is the time to bring the cows home. For adventurous riders looking for a unique horseback riding vacation, this is a great time to explore amazing country, scale steep hillsides, climb over down trees, and help us bring the cows home.
Fall 4-Night Stays
The October stays pull in a mix of outdoor freedom and snuggling opportunities indoors. As we transition from fall to winter, the fall can be a mystical time at the ranch. It might be sunny and 70 degrees, or we can get snow, rain, and sometimes all of those in the same week!
It’s a great time to cozy up by the fire, soak in your private hot tub, or adventure out on horseback, or on foot, to explore the mountain vistas.
We eat more of our meals inside the Lodge, rather than outside or on the trail, due to shorter daylight hours and cooler temperatures, and the massive fireplace in the Main Lodge is typically going all day and into the evening for those wanting to relax and stay inside.
We head out for activities rain or shine, and it’s not unheard of to hike up to a high alpine lake and find snow during this time of year!
