In the second of a series of posts on her stay at Vista Verde Ranch, Heidi shares her favorite moments at the ranch which involved hot tubs and horses. How can those go hand in hand? Well, when you’re staying in one of the accommodations like the South Fork cabin where you look right out on the Winter pasture, each day you wake up to the horses right outside your window, and any time you take a soak in the hot tub you have the horses as your entertainment. One of the descriptions that really rang true to us is, “For one thing, the winter horse field is directly in front of many of the cabins, including ours, South Fork Cabin. Each morning, we would awake to horses just outside our bedroom window. I have always said that while I don’t want a farm, I’d love to have neighbors who have a farm, this way, I could enjoy the benefits without the work. That’s Vista Verde Ranch.”
There is so much truth to this. Guests at Vista Verde get to enjoy all the perks of ranch life without the work, and we agree with Heidi that is what makes it such a great vacation!
