In part II of the series about her winter vacation at Vista Verde Ranch, Heidi speaks to one of the most utilized aspects of the ranch–the food! There is no other “activity” at the ranch that every guest takes part in three times a day, so our chefs are kept on their toes coming up with creative and fresh options for our guests. Plus, they seem to be able to juggle the many meals with the variety of dietary restrictions and requests while still making sure every dish is amazing!
Heidi makes the very accurate statement, “No one stays at Vista Verde Ranch for the food, at least not the first time, but if they come back, it might be for the food. It is that good.” She’s spot on as people don’t often pick the ranch for the food–whether they are choosing a beautiful, remote setting for a summer ranch vacation, fall adult-only escape, or a winter wonderland getaway, and they want diverse activities, beautiful accommodations, great service, and yes, definitely good food is a must.
