We have several new horses to introduce to you! Head Wrangler River is excited about each of these horses personalities and the possibilities to come with how they settle in over the next few months. Here are some highlights about each of them:
Vegas is a 6 year old big and sweet draft. He’ll make your head turn with his liver chestnut body and golden mane. He is still in training but we think he’ll be ready in no time.
Elvis is a 5 year old black and white draft cross. He is very curious and playful. Vegas and Elvis are the best of friends so where you find one, you’ll find the other. Vegas still has some learning to do to get on the dude string. Fun fact, prior to his VVR time, he was owned by an Amish family and he knows how to pull a cart.
Cruz is a testament to his name, you’ll see him walking strides ahead and he likes a little speed. He was on a working ranch before so we’re excited to see him work cows. He is an 11 year old tall bay with kind eyes. We’re still assessing his trail skills but with a bit of tuning and exposure he’ll be ready for the confident and experienced rider.
Reuben is an 11 year old, tall, stocky, red roan. He appreciates all the love and cuddles and he is very willing and kind. He’ll take care of a beginner rider and loves a walk. What a sweetie.
Copper is still adjusting to life at Vista Verde. Small but mighty, he’s an 8 year old sorrel with a crooked blaze. He’s a bit green so he’ll be in training for the summer, and we’ll see where he’s at in the fall.
