Melissa Zumbuhl
Melissa Zumbuhl will be heading up our amazing team of housekeepers this winter. She made her way to Vista Verde all the way from Sequim, WA. Melissa loves the sunshine and being active. She recently graduated from Linfield College with a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Studio Art. Melissa loves traveling. We are overjoyed to have Melissa here for her second season!
Lindsey Conklin
Lindsey Conklin joins us from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She is entering her second season at Vista Verde and will be joining the housekeeping crew. Lindsey loves the sunshine, she enjoys running and fitness. Lindsey graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in English. She grew up in the hospitality industry and moved every two years. Ask her about her travels to 43 countries! I’m sure she’ll have wonderful stories to share.
Kristen Koning
After spending two years in Spain Teaching English, Kristen Koning now joins us at Vista Verde. Kristen didn’t go too far from her hometown of Fishers, Indiana to earn her degree in Psychology and Mathmatics from Indiana University in Bloomington, but we are glad she is out here for her second season on the housekeeping crew. In her spare time, you can find Kristen watching TED talks or teaching the electric slide. Kristen is overjoyed to be joining us this winter to explore Colorado’s snowy wonderland.
CK Jorgenson
CK Jorgenson is the quintessential Colorado girl! She comes to us from Colorado Springs and went to Colorado State University where she received a degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism and a minor in Business. She loves the ranching lifestyle and has spent a few years at Lost Valley Ranch trying her hand at a variety of different activities. When she’s not housekeeping, you can find her riding or enjoying the beautiful outdoors. We are delighted to have CK join us in North Routt for a gorgeous winter.
Lauren Sawyer
We welcome Lauren Sawyer to her first season at Vista Verde Ranch as one of our lovely housekeepers. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Lauren has a love for skiing, hiking, singing, jogging, mountains, Colorado, and most of all animals. Ask her about her experience working on a zoo in Australia and her time volunteering at a therapeutic riding center. For her next step she plans attend Vet school! Until then we are glad to have her as part of our ranch family.
