So we've told you all the wonderful things about our stay at the ranch. But what was really the cream of the crop was getting to know all the staff. In fact, we were laughing that if we applied to work here, we probably wouldn't get the job because we don't have enough degrees! They are all so wonderful and smart and truly seem to enjoy what they are doing. We wanted to take them all home with us!
Denise Nickerson will be heading up our fabulous team of housekeepers this summer. While she's originally from Rhode Island, she has made Colorado home for several years. When she's not keeping things in order on the ranch, Denise loves to get out and do some hiking and photography. Her artistic side surfaces when she finds time to work with pencil and watercolor. Denise also is a real "green thumb" and has an excellent knack for gardening and a knowledge of indoor plants.
Amber Davis calls Noblesville, IN home. She recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Architecture. After having worked at a kid's camp in the Midwest, she decided to make the move to Colorado and try out the dude ranch life. This will be Amber's second season working in housekeeping. Amber loves music, art and photography and swam competitively for 9 years.
Teresa de Armas grew up in Tacoma, WA and will be joining our awesome team of housekeepers this summer. This will be Teresa's fourth season at the ranch. She graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Washington. Teresa loves to write poetry, paint and travel--in fact, you'll have to ask her about her most recent trip to Uganda, Africa with the Steamboat organization Come Lets Dance.
