There are so many things about Vista Verde that make it a great story.  Besides the obvious of the Western experience with horses and cowboys, there are some real surprises.  Just breaking the beans and weanies image that surrounds the dude ranch industry by writing about the luxury ranch experience is a start.  Our upscale accommodations, top notch culinary experience and one to one staff to guest ratio is unexpected for many readers.  In addition, our mountain biking program is very unique, as are many of the other activities we offer such as cooking classes, wine tastings, customized hiking and rock climbing.  The winter ranch experience is something that doesn't even cross most people's minds, so that is a unique story in itself.  Specifically, the backcountry skiing and holiday times at the ranch both make for fun stories.
