When not down in the housekeeping department, Devyn can be found singing, participating in pilates and cooking. She also loves spending time with her family and friends. Three, of many, things on Devyn’s bucket list include singing at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, running a 10K and half marathon and living in Nashville, Tennessee. Fun fact: Devyn graduated from Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in songwriting, so a lot of the music you will hear her perform is her own music!
Michelle will be spending her third season at Vista Verde as a housekeeper this summer. She loves playing softball and basketball and will actually be on the ranch’s intramural softball team this summer with many other staff. She enjoys hiking, though she is slightly new to the activity; she cannot wait to conquer more trails and mountains this season! Before coming to the ranch, Michelle worked in the pharmaceutical industry for two years. Fun fact about Michelle: she has an allergy to gluten, yet her favorite food is pizza.
Emily loves to hike, telling and hearing bad jokes and absorbing lots of Vitamin D by doing all types of things outdoors. She is also an avid traveler, having been to many places; her most recent adventure included traveling to Moab, Utah this past off season. She also loves making/eating chocolate chip cookies and drinking Kombucha. Interesting fact about Emily: last summer, she hiked the Appalachian Trail, a hike lasting for about six months.
Grace is currently studying Hospitality & Tourism Management. Grace worked at a daycare facility for five years and was tired of changing diapers so Colorado seemed like a great change of pace for her! She loves to travel and try new things. One of her passions includes singing. You might just find her singing as she’s tidying up your cabin!
Laura has a degree in Public Relations/Communications. She went to Costa Rica for a study abroad program in 2013. Going whale watching and/or seeing a killer whale in the wild is on her bucket list. Laura just recently quit her extremely unsatisfying, boring retail job to come to Vista Verde and is very excited to see what the summer brings her!
Erin is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina, where she studied public health and math. She loves swimming, hiking, running, and generally being outside. Erin spent the first part of the summer leading backpacking expeditions for teenagers in the southern Rockies, and she is excited to enjoy all the creature comforts of coming back to civiliaztion during her time at the ranch. She loves live music, sunny days, and a good cup of coffee, and is looking forward to the beautiful fall weather we have in North Routt County!
